The Jio GigaFiber was announced during the company's 41st annual general meeting last month, Reliance Jio GigaFiber broadband service has been attracting a lot of eyeballs from people around the country and the registration will kick off from the country's 72nd Independence Day.

Reliance Jio has been secretly testing the JioGigaFiber broadband services for over two years now and the initial rollout will be in 1,100 Indian cities.
In order to register yourself for a new Jio GigaFiber connection on August 15, you will need to head to the MyJio app or Jio’s official website. Once you complete the registering process after filling all the needed details, the company will confirm your registration through the mail or a text message.
While on August 15, you will only be able to register yourself for a new JioGigaFiber connection for free, the company will send an installation team to your house to install the JioGigaFiber router as well as Jio GigaTV connection.

That said, users will reportedly have to pay Rs 4,500 upfront as a refundable security deposit for the JioGigaFiber router while the broadband service will be free for first three months for Jio GigaFiber broadband users.
Coming down to the JioGigaFiber plans, the company is expected to introduce five new plans worth Rs. 500, Rs. 750, Rs. 999, Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,500 initially, with the 1Gbps plan coming in a couple of months.
